Join Rabbi Lorin as we live the words of Psalm 30 and “turn sadness into rejoicing,” moving from Tefilat Geshem (Prayer for Rain) and the Yizkor service of Shemini Atzeret into the dancing and music-filled celebration of Simchat Torah. Accompanied by The AY Band, who will lead us in each of the Hakafot (circle dances with the Torah), we will also read both the ending and beginning of the Torah. Everyone gets an aliyah! Come for any or all of the evening's offerings.
