Hebrew School

Our Hebrew school includes students ages 7 to 13. The program teaches basic Hebrew reading, prayer, and Jewish ritual and holidays, as well as subjects such as Jewish history, values, and Torah study. The students participate in several Shabbat services each year, and also engage in a variety of tzedakah projects.
Our Hebrew school meets once each week. Rabbi Natan Margalit leads class once a month, and our Hebrew school teachers lead the other weekly classes. Volunteers from the congregation also participate in teaching Hebrew school. Tuition is $200.00 per child.
For information about Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation, please see Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.

We also offer several gatherings each year for preschool-age children and their parents, where song, a craft and basic Jewish learning are shared.

For adults, we have and are continuing to provide classes and programs in a variety of subjects regarding Jewish culture, philosophy, ritual, and practice (see Adult Education).
